For Summer 2026, we are seeking Lead Teachers, Assistant Teachers, and a Reading Specialist. 

Dedicated Master Teachers Make the Difference

Horizons at LCDS teachers are professional, highly qualified teachers from both public and private schools, including School District of Lancaster, Columbia, Hempfield, Head Start, and LCDS. Their approach to hands-on, project-based learning keeps kids excited to come to Horizons each day.

Small class sizes foster close relationships and targeted instruction. Supporting each lead teacher is an assistant teacher, as well as high-school-aged volunteers. A dedicated Reading Specialist and Math Specialist meets with teachers and students regularly to tailor individual instruction to each student’s needs.
